Bird flu suspected in South Korea
A case of suspected bird flu has been found in poultry in south-western South Korea, an official said Thursday (Nov 23).
"No one has been infected so far, though it could spread to people," an official at the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said.
The discovery was made in the south-western Jeolla Province.
The official, who asked not to be named, said it would take time to confirm the case.
