Cermaq establishes new management team
 
 


Aquaculture company, Cermaq, has established a new corporate management team which will closely integrate operational units and corporate staff functions together, following the sales of the EWOS feed division.


The move will see the transfers of managing directors, from country organisations in Chile, Norway and Canada, into the management team.


The new team now consists of company CEO, Jon Hindar; chief officer legal and corporate functions, Synne Homble; chief financial officer, Tore Valderhaug; chief operating officer (Norway), Geir Molvik; chief operating officer (Chile), Francisco Miranda Morales; and chief operating officer (Canada), Fernando Villarroel.


Project director, Geir Sjaastad, reports directly to the CEO and continues to be responsible for IT.


Meanwhile, Molvik will be appointed as the new managing director of Cermaq Norway, effective from December 2, 2013. Snorre Jonassen, the current managing director, will take a new position as regional manager for Nordland.
