China lysine prices stabilise from slide
Prices were stable during the week ended November 19.
Lysine demand remained flat as soymeal prices continued to fall. In addition, several feed millers were replacing wheat with corn, as the former has lost its cost advantage while the latter reduced in prices amid increased supplies. Nonetheless, lysine producers held prices firm as export demand remained stable.
Price quotes of 98.5-percent lysine stayed to RMB13.50-14/kg.
Lysine prices are seen stable to lower with corn and soymeal prices on weak trends. Towards December, buying interest is expected to improve as buyers stock inventories.
