Shanghai pork prices drop
Shanghai pork prices dropped by 1.7 percent month-on-month in October, surged by 56.8 percent year-on-year, while growth rate decreased by 7.5 percent.
The report was released by Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Statistics and the Shanghai Municipal Investigation Team.
In October, prices of beef increased by 8.5 percent month-on-month, with the growth rates rising to 32.1 percent.
The poultry product price followed a steady course and dropped in October, with chicken and duck prices slipping by 0.3 percent and 0.6 percent month-on-month respectively.
