Thailand suspects more human bird flu cases

Local authorities in Thailand's eastern Chacherngsao province have reported three children suspected with bird flu.

Two girls, three and 11 years old, and a four-year-old boy, were hospitalised recently after they reportedly showed bird flu-like symptoms. All three children came from families who raised chickens and some of the animals also died suspiciously lately.

Provincial health officials have reported the suspected cases to the Thai Ministry of Public Health.
