China lysine producers halt price releases; demand remains sluggish

Lysine prices were unchanged during the week ending November 20.

Almost all lysine producers held back price releases over the week but failed to stimulate sales.

For imported 98.5-percent lysine, transacted prices were at RMB10.90-11.15/kg.

Excess supplies of lysine will continue to exert pressure on the market even if some buyers restock depleting inventories in the coming period.
