Omega-3 pork to raise Stirling Products sales

Stirling Products North America (SPNA) foresees increased sales revenue from its Omega-3 premix distributorship.

After the deal between Canadian retailer Co-op Atlantic and its partner the Natural Organic Food Group (NOFG) to sell Omega-3 was finalized, the feed and nutrition specialist, Stirling Products, also projected financial rewards.

Omega-3 pork products were sourced from local farmers who feed natural and strict diet, primarily of soybean and flaxseed, to their swine. The diet also includes enhanced natural Omega-3 with ProVale.

The product has an established market in North America and South East Asia where it is fed to poultry and pigs.

Dr. Calvin London, CEO and Managing Director of Stirling Products, said that their company is enthusiastic about expanding the sales of Omega-3 premix.

SPNA, which is based on Prince Edward Island, Canada, has the exclusive rights to distribute the Omega-3 premix which is currently manufactured to proprietary specifications by KenPal Inc., a leading Canadian supplier of custom premixes and nutritional supplements.

Surveys showed that 60 percent of the North American population prefers consuming functional food related products for better health.
