Heat could hamper India's wheat development
Warmer-than-normal temperatures during India's dry season could stress wheat during the key heading stage of growth, according to a three-month outlook released by Earth Satellite's Cropcast Monday (Nov 20).
"Winter wheat development could run into some problems due to this heat during heading," said Cropcast.
The forecasters said the heading stage will occur during the later half of the three-month period.
