Tyson Foods appoints new presidents and VPs

Meat and poultry producer, Tyson Foods, Inc has appointed a handful of individuals to newly-created leadership positions, as part of efforts to support future growth in its domestic and international protein and prepared foods businesses.
The recent appointments include Donnie King, currently senior group vice president of poultry and prepared foods, who is made president of prepared foods, customer and consumer solutions; Noel White, currently senior group vice president of fresh meats, who is made president of poultry; and Steve Stouffer, currently senior vice president of beef margin management, who is made president of fresh meats.
In addition to these appointments, Tyson has also named officeholders for vice-presidential roles. These include Hal Carper, currently group vice president of R&D, logistics and technical services, who is made executive vice president of strategy and new ventures; and Russell Tooley, currently senior vice president of corporate and international human resources, who is made executive vice president of programme management.
James Young, who is the presently group vice president (international) for Tyson, will retain his current position.
Meanwhile, two new leadership positions will report to Donnie King. These include Wes Morris as president of prepared foods and Devin Cole as president of sales and marketing, and chief commercial officer.
