Ukraine's 2012-13 corn export volumes may reach 13.5 million tonnes

Ukraine's export volumes of corn may total 12.5 million-13.5 million tonnes in 2012-13 marketing year.

According to Vladimir Klimenko, President of Ukrainian Grain Association, Ukrainian corn is in high demand all over the world, and is supplied in dozens of countries.

According to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) report "Global Economic Prospects", during recent two years of the Far Eastern countries have the lack of stocks of grains and oilseeds. The factor provides rather significant export opportunities for Ukraine.
