In a recent investigation by Mexico's Federal Commission of Economic Competition (CFC), Bachoco is found guilty of price fixing in the Yucatan Peninsula region and was imposed a fine of about US$110,000.

Bachoco  does not agree with this determination, and will defend itself according to the provisions of Mexican law.
