China vitamin C prices stagnant on flat demand
Prices of vitamin C were flat during the week ended November 16.
Even as demand showed no signs of improving of late, vitamin C price held its ground with producers incurring losses.
Prices of feed- and food-grade vitamin C were mainly at RMB24/kg.
Prices of vitamin C are expected to stay around current levels with feed demands limited and supplies abundant.
With renminbi value at historic high, overseas demand for the production is unlikely to be strong.
