Ukraine's poultry flock down three percent in October

Ukraine's poultry population in October fell 6.47 million head or three percent on-month to 208.9 million heads.

In private farms, poultry population decreased 6.6 percent or 7.877 million heads, while the herd in specialised farms increased by 1.5 percent or 1.407 million heads.

In comparison with the year-ago period, poultry population rose by 4.3 percent or 8.703 million heads.

In specialised farms, poultry population rose by 6.4 percent or 5.849 million heads, and in private farms poultry population rose by 2.6 percent or 2.855 million heads.
