Market analysis

 

The fall in prices slowed down after producers cut production volumes.

 

As of Nov 18, general offer prices of locally-produced lysine were at RMB11.10-11.40/kg. Transacted prices were between RMB11.00-11.30/kg.

 

Prices of 65-percent locally-produced lysine were at RMB6.60-6.80/kg.

 

Prices of deals concluded for 65-percent lysine produced by CJ Corp were at RMB6.70-6.90/kg.

 

As for imported lysine, transacted prices by traders were between RMB11.70-12.00/kg.

 
 

Market forecast

 

In the near term, prices of lysine are expected to stabilize as demand increase with stocks of small and medium-sized feed millers and traders seen running low.
