Jiangsu's live pig inventory up in October

Live pig inventory in Jiangsu Province totalled 14.7782 million heads in October, surging by 643,100 heads or 4.55 percent on-year and increasing by 181,900 heads month-on-month, according to the latest information released by the Provincial Animal Husbandry Administration.

More specifically, the inventories of piglets were 8.0346 million and 4.9416 million heads respectively, with the hybrid pig inventory at 4.9845 million.
