Beijing's pork price up early November

 

 

Figures from the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Agriculture show that weighted average prices of slaughtered pig, beef shin, whole lamb in China's capital were RMB18.19/kg, RMB23.41/kg and RMB21.65/kg respectively in the first ten days of November, rising by 7.6 percent, 0.7 percent and 0.2 percent over the previous ten days, and surging by 66 percent, 56.8 percent and 67.2 percent year-on-year.

 

The price of packaged chicken was RMB10.33/kg in the period, dropping by 1.1 percent when compared to the previous ten days, with the boxed eggs at RMB128.32/box, dropping by 3.1 percent when compared to the previous ten days but surging by 11.2 percent year-on-year.
