Jiangsu's Jan-October poultry inventory up by 14 million heads

Jiangsu Province's poultry inventory reached 331.3583 million heads in the first ten months of 2007, increasing by 14.0451 million year-on-year, according to the latest information released by the Provincial Animal Husbandry Administration.

Chicken inventory was 272.0949 million heads, with 54.7761 million for table poultry, 145.1127 million for layer chicken, and 72.2061 million for free-range chickens. The duck inventory reached 46.318 million heads, including 12.3127 million of egg-laying ducks and 34.0053 million of table ducks. The goose inventory was 12.9455 million heads.
