Taiwan TFMA Buys 39,500 MT US Wheat from Columbia Grain

 

The Taiwan Flour Millers Association's southern members bought a total of 39,500 metric tons of US No. 1 wheat from trading house Columbia Grain International in a tender concluded Thursday, according to a TFMA official.

 

TFMA bought one cargo of milling wheat at prices ranging from $150.75 to $197.29 a ton, free on board from the US, the official said.

 

The cargo is to be shipped between Dec. 26 and Jan. 12 from the Columbia River District, including Portland. An additional freight rate of $42.90/ton will be charged on top of all FOB prices.
