Ukraine plants grain on 15.9 million hectares for 2010, same as '09
Ukraine's grain planted area for the 2010 harvest will total 15.9 million hectares, the same as the area planted for this year's harvest, the Agriculture Ministry announced Tuesday (November 17).
Winter grain planted area is 8.1 million hectares and spring grains will be planted on 7.8 million hectares.
The Ministry said areas planted with corn, pulses and soy would increase, while sunflower-planted areas would be smaller.
