China threonine prices stable to marginally lower; increased supplies of imported products
An eFeedLink exclusive report
Threonine prices in China were generally stable to marginally lower in recent days. Two major local producers have maintained their offer prices at the level of RMB35.0/kg, with transacted prices generally in the range of RMB34.0-35.0/kg. However, both producers continued to conclude deals with many feed millers in the range of RMB34.5-35.5/kg recently.
Meanwhile, supplies of imported threonine have shown a slight increase of late. The recent weakness in China's livestock production has caused a slight fall in demand. Offer prices of imported threonine were generally at the level of RMB42.0/kg or higher recently. Transacted prices were generally in the range of RMB41.0-41.5/kg, with some major buyers securing supplies at slightly lower prices.
