Prices of Vitamin A in China down on weak feed demand

In the north, transacted prices of imported vitamin A were in the range of RMB215-230/kg. Transacted prices of locally produced vitamin A registered between RMB205-220/kg; some big volume deals were concluded at slightly lower price levels. Prices in the south were slightly higher.
 

General market prices of imported vitamin "VA1,000" by a foreign producer were between RMB420/kg and RMB440/kg. Prices of water-soluble vitamin A were RMB 270-285/kg. Overall, the prices were marginally lower.


VA prices are under downward pressure amid weak domestic demand and reduced export volumes.
