China's Jilin aims to develop its processing industries
 

 

China's Jilin province is striving to become a world-class halal meat processing base, with meat processor Haoyue Pte Ltd at the helm of its efforts, provincial officials said at a meat-processing conference on Wednesday (Nov 15). 

 

The province would focus on manufacturing and product development and diversify its industry within the grain and meat-processing sectors, along with the development processed food from its Chang Baishan region, Provincial Food Industry official Liu Renzhu said.

 

Under a proposed plan, the province would also develop its corn-processing sector with Da Cheng Corp as its anchor enterprise. Jilin also intends to develop its broiler processing industry with De Da Corporation leading its efforts.
