Philippine hog weekly: Farmgate hogs prices remain firm amid proliferating botcha (week ended Nov 13, 2012)
The National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS) is now increasing its guard against botcha which has been rapidly spreading in the wet markets of Metro Manila. Although prices of farmgate hogs are good, pork farmers say it might abruptly go down due to botcha.
