Taiwan Sugar Seeks 35,000 MT Corn In Tender Nov 19

State-owned Taiwan Sugar Corp. will seek 35,000 metric tons of US No. 2 yellow corn in a buy tender to be held at 0600 GMT Nov. 19, according to a Taipei-based trader who received the tender notice Tuesday.

Taiwan Sugar will buy one cargo of US corn to be shipped either between Dec. 2-16 from the US Gulf, or between Dec. 17-31 from the Pacific Northwest, the trader said.

The maximum moisture level of the corn is set at 14.5%, the trader said. Suppliers can provide a cargo with 5% more or 10% less of the tendered quantity.
