Vitamin E prices hit new low in China

Over the past few weeks, prices dipped further.

Vitamin E prices continued to break new lows as domestic demand showed no signs of improving, while prices in Europe hit yearly-low levels.
Price quotes of locally produced vitamin E were lower in the range of RMB103-106/kg.

Domestic demand for vitamin E is likely to improve gradually while buyers restock depleted inventories. However, export demand is expected to be curtailed by a strong renminbi.
