Vitamin A producers hold prices stable in China

Prices continued to slide over the past few weeks.

As feed output continued to shrink during October, the demand for vitamin A remained slack, dragging prices down to July 2010’s record-low levels.

Transacted prices of locally produced vitamin A dipped to RMB116-120/kg while imported products fell to the range of RMB119-123/kg

Current low prices of vitamin A will likely entice buyers to stock inventories, supporting prices to stabilise in the coming period.
