Imports of raw concentrated feed materials rise in Norway
The import of raw materials for concentrated feed from duty-exempt countries has hiked in Norway for the previous year.
The molasses imports from Ethiopia amount to 4,356 tonnes so far in 2010. Still, Pakistan is the most important import market for this product that is used in concentrated feed.
Practically all imported wheat bran is from duty exempt Senegal. So far in the year the import amounts to 8,278 tonnes worth about NOK8.20 million (EUR1.01 million; US$1.38 million), up from just over three tonnes in the same period 2009.
