Hong Kong suspends import of UK chicken
Hong Kong's Centre for Food Safety (CFS) announced the immediate suspension of all poultry import applications from UK after the reported bird flu outbreak.
The decision has been reached following UK's confirmation on the deadly avian influenza H5N1 on a poultry farm.
Hong Kong imported about 3,400 tonnes of frozen poultry products from the UK from January to September this year.
