Russia raises 2005 US poultry import quota

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov signed a decree Nov 8 increasing the 2005 import quota for US poultry to 811,900 tonnes from the previous 771,900 tonnes, the government press service said.

Russia's total 2005 poultry import quota now stands at 1.09 million tonnes.

The quota for poultry imports from the EU is 205,000 tonnes, from Paraguay 5,000 tonnes and from other countries 68,100 tonnes.
