Olmix launches new natural growth promoter for animal feed

Feed additive supplier Olmix has officially launched MFeed, its natural growth promoter at a two-day seminar in Bangkok, Thailand.

Olmix has developed MFeed to counter the irresponsible use of antibiotics in livestock feed, according to company chairman Herve Balusson.

MFeed is made of activated montmorillonite, diatomaceous earth, clinoptilolite, yeast cell walls, seaweed extract, essential oils and copper. The product is currently sold in the US, Asia and Eastern Europe.

The product mainly improves feed conversion and liveweight gain in pigs, broilers, layers and cattle, and also boosts the performance of growing shrimp and fish.
