Belarus will not import corn and hard wheat varieties

Belarus does not plan to import corn and hard wheat varieties, but will purchase nearly 5,000 to 6,000 tonnes of wheat for food production.

Currently, Belarus is able to provide self-supporting production of corn and hard wheat varieties in order to satisfy domestic food requirements.

Previously, Belarus purchased nearly 1.5 million tonnes of corn.
