China methionine prices surge 4% in five weeks
 
 
Prices of methionine continued to rise during the week ending November 11.

Methionine traders continued to withhold releases on the one hand and lift prices on the other hand, as supplies tightened in China with its local producers halting operation. On average, methionine prices have increased over 4% over the past five weeks.

Liquid methionine* quotes in the general market remained firm at RMB20-20.50/kg.

Prices are expected climb further in the coming
