Market analysis

 

As of Nov 11, general offer prices of locally-produced lysine were at RMB11.30-11.60/kg. Transacted prices were between RMB11.20-11.40/kg.

 

Prices of 65-percent locally-produced lysine were at RMB6.70-6.90/kg.

 

Prices of deals concluded for 65-percent lysine produced by CJ Corp were at RMB6.80-7.00/kg.

 

As for imported lysine, transacted prices by traders were between RMB11.90-12.20/kg.

 

 

Market forecast

 

Near-term lysine prices are seen to remain weak as exports and feed demand shows no signs of recovery. Moreover, inventory pressure is building up for the producers.
