China Jan-Oct soy imports up 4.5 percent on-year

China's soy imports in the January to October period totaled 24.54 million tonnes, up 4.5 percent from a year earlier, the General Administration of Customs said Monday (November 12, 2007).

The country's soy imports in the first nine months totaled 21.69 million tonnes. Soy imports in October totaled 2.85 million tonnes.
