Russia's grain exports at 20 million tonnes in 2008
Russia is targeting an 18 to 20 million- tonne grain export next year, according to Alexander Kholostov, head of the department of state purchases and interventions at the Russian Ministry of Agriculture.
Kholostov said Russia's grain exports in 2007 will amount to 12 to 14 million tonnes.
Arkady Zolochevsky, president of the Russian Grain Union, said that the country would increase its grain output by 110 to 120 million tonnes by 2015-2020.
