Malaysia to Expand Seafood Export Market in Asia
 

Malaysia marine development Co. (LKIM) is planning to expand its export market and production to West Asia.

The company will open a processing plant in Kuantan (Malaysia) under the management of Majuikan Sdn Bhd, an affiliate of LKIM, to serve its export market.

Majuikan Sdn Bhd is presently operating 2 other aquatic processing factories. Chendering factory - with a capacity of 800-1,000kg/day - caters to domestic customers, while another plants specializing in shrimp products are located in Pantai, Kedah state.
