South Korea Dongah Buys 21,500 MT US No.1 Wheat from Cargill
South Korea's Dongah Flour Mills Co. bought 21,500 metric tons of US No. 1 wheat from trading firm Cargill in a tender concluded Wednesday, according a Dongah official.
Dongah bought one cargo of milling wheat at prices ranging from $146.84-$194.52 per ton, free on board from Columbia River District, including Portland, the official said.
The cargo is set to be shipped between Dec. 5 - Jan. 5. The freight rate of the cargo will be decided by separate talks between Dongah and a local shipper.
