Taiwan BSPA Buys 56,000 MT US Soybeans from Zennoh
Taiwan's Breakfast Soybean Procurement Association Kaohsiung branch bought 56,000 metric tons of US No. 2 yellow soybeans from Japanese trading house Zennoh in a tender concluded Wednesday, according to a BSPA official.
BSPA Kaohsiung bought one cargo at 219 US cents over the Chicago Board of Trade March contract. The agreed price is after cost and freight, the official said.
The shipment date is set between Dec. 1-15 from the US Gulf or Dec. 16-30 from the Pacific Northwest.
Zennoh also agreed to provide soybeans with a minimum oil content of 19% and a minimum protein value of 35%, revealed the official.
