Methionine prices stabilise in China amid cautious mood
Prices of methionine were stable during the week ending November 9.
Methionine market remained firm with supplies staying tight. However, trade was limited as buyers held back procurements while feed consumption stayed weak.
Price quotes of imported dl-methionine were higher in the range of RMB115-120/kg
Buying interest for costly methionine will therefore be weak as buyers are highly cautious, helping to stabilise the prices of methionine for the moment.
