Weak demand drags down China calcium phosphate prices

Prices were stable to lower during the period in review.

Prices of calcium phosphate reduced significantly in the production regions but were mostly stable in the consumption regions. As broiler feed consumption shrank during October, demand for calcium phosphate dropped in tandem, adding pressure to the market which was facing excess output.

Decimated feed consumption will put a lid on calcium phosphate demand. Prices are expected to move lower during November.
