Kazakhstan's September exports of oilseeds up
 

 

Kazakhstan faced an increase of the exports of oilseeds in September 2012, which is traditional for the period.

 

According to data of the official statistics, in September 2012 the structure of oilseed exports faced changes: flaxseed share totalled 52% (or 6,300 tonnes) and rapeseed - 39% (or 4,800 tonnes). Belgium was the main buyer of Kazakh flaxseed in the reporting period, which imported 5,300 tonnes (84%). Almost all rapeseed volumes (98%, or 4,700 tonnes) were exported to Denmark.

 

Also in September, Kazakhstan exported nearly 12,100 tonnes of grains (up 57% compared to August), which became the new record for the month period. However, the index was greatly lower compared to the absolute maximum - 52,600 tonnes (in June 2012).
