The persistent fall in soymeal prices decimated the demand for lysine as feed miller reduced its inclusion rates. With demand waning and inventories expanding, lysine producers cut price in a bid to promote sales. Compared with early October, prices of local 98.5-percent lysine have reduced by over 6%.
