Supply rise softens China lysine prices
Lysine prices moved lower during the week ending November 4.
As feed consumption remained slow due to limited hog population, buyers withheld purchases of lysine over the week in anticipation of softer prices with production increased.
Price quotes of 65-percent lysine and 70-percent lysine were at RMB5/kg and RMB6.80-7.50/kg respectively.
With supplies on the rise, sellers will be under pressure to lower prices to promote sales.
