India October soymeal exports more than double on-year
India's soymeal exports during October more than doubled to 218,247 tonnes from 92,424 tonnes in the same month last year, the Soybean Processors Association of India said Thursday.
However, soymeal exports during April-October period fell 52 percent to 849,646 tonnes due to lower exports in the first half of the fiscal year started April 1, it said in a statement.
India exported soymeal to Vietnam, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Greece, China and Iran during the period.
Another trade body, the Solvent Extractors' Association, will release oilmeal export data for October later Thursday.
