Belarus suspends Russian pork import

Belarus has introduced a temporary ban on pork import from Russia, according to the Belarusian Ministry of Agriculture and Food Darya Kazlowskaya.

Kazlowskaya said the temporary ban was introduced due to the aggravation of the epizootic situation with the African swine fever in Russia, adding that the ban also covers import of pork products and technical raw materials.

The previously issued permits for the mentioned products have been annulled.
