Market analysis

 

As of Nov 4, general offer prices of locally-produced lysine were at RMB11.90-12.20/kg. Transacted prices were between RMB11.80-12.10/kg.


Prices of 65-percent locally-produced lysine were at RMB7.15-7.35/kg.


Prices of deals concluded for 65-percent lysine produced by CJ Corp were at RMB7.20-7.40/kg.


As for imported lysine, transacted prices by traders were between RMB12.50-12.80/kg.

 

 

Market forecast

 

Near-term lysine prices are seen to weaken further as exports have slowed down and domestic feed demand is hampered by the tainted egg scandal.
