China Whey Weekly: Traders cut prices amid poor demand (week ended Nov 2, 2014)
Whey market weakened in China amid sluggish demand. As hog prices continued to slide with pork demand slack, feed millers were reluctant to step up piglet feed production, hence limiting the usages of whey. While import costs from the US remained flat, whey traders cut prices readily in efforts to move sales.
