Aviagen has appointed Marcel Janssen as the company's regional technical manager for Eastern Europe and CIS countries.

Based in the Netherlands, Janssen will be responsible for the coordination of technical support to customers in these countries, new projects in Russia and managing key accounts.

His main focus is to develop the customer base of Aviagen LLC and Aviagen KFT whose production locations in Russia and Hungary have supplied millions of broiler breeder parents in the region.

According to Tyark Osterndorff, Aviagen's business manager for Eastern Europe and CIS, Janssen has over 24 years of experience in the poultry industry and is familiar with Ross broilers and parent stock in the region.
