Darby provides boars, breed sows to North Korea for first time

South Korea's pig-breeding company Darby has provided 24 "Darby queen-S" (F1 crossbred gilt) and 2 "Marbler-S" (Duroc boar) to Go-Sung breeding farm in North Korea on October 7, in cooperation with "Korea Peninsula Agro-fishery Co-work." Darby and "Korea Peninsula Agro-fishery Co-work" provided those breeders to help the re-establishment and management of North Korea's agricultural foundation. This first-time Darby support to North Korea was based on Darby's strong will to help and support North Korean agriculture. This supporting of genetic resources may initiate cooperation between Darby and North Korea in the pig industry.
