China's Dalian establishes national grain trading centre
The Dalian National Grain Trading Centre was officially established in Dalian city of northeast China's Liaoning Province on October 27, thus becoming the country's 21st such exchange centre.
Dalian is China's major coastal city for grain distribution, while the Dalian Commodity Exchange is the largest futures trading centre for agricultural commodities in the country.
With the setting up of this trading centre, it will serve to complete Dalian's grain market and make Dalian the centre of China's grain trading both in the futures and spot markets.
